A Business Checking account at Merchants and Farmers Bank has no excessive transaction fees. We will analyze and give you a credit based on the average collective balance maintained in your account, which will be used to offset some or all of your service charge. The basic monthly maintenance fee is $7.50. Imaged copies of your checks and deposit slips are returned in your monthly statement.

Business NOW Accounts (Interest Checking)
This is an account that pays a competitive rate of interest when balances do not go below $1,500. This account is only available to sole proprietors and nonprofit organizations. Money Market Demand Checking
This account is an interest bearing account where the interest is compounded monthly and will be credited to the account monthly. You must deposit $2500.00 to open this account and your minimum balance must not fall below $2500.00 or there will be a $15.00 service charge. Imaged copies of your checks and deposit slips are returned in your monthly statement. We offer this type of account to business and personal accounts but with limited check writing ability.

Night Depository
Drop off your deposit in the evening and your deposit is credited the next business day. Bags and keys are available for rent for bulky deposits or use the convenient envelope drop slot for smaller items.
